“Some” Assembly Required
This post shows me doing what I do best…manual labor…Yeah, generally after a full day of school and teaching guitar I like to come home, whip out the tools and just create something out of nothing. There’s no feeling like working with your hands. After all, “I’m a man. A man who built the Eiffel Tower out of steel and bronz.” (Thanks Ron Burgundy) Truthfully…I never do things like this. Building this TV stand not only took me over three hours, but I am pretty sure it shaved a few years off my life…On top of all that, it may have cost me my integrity. Oh yeah, and what I said earlier about “creating something out of nothing” that “nothing” came in a box that weighed about 125lbs and had a twenty-five page manual that explained how to connect each of the 2,094 pieces with it’s appropriate “letter coded” counterpart. I learned a very important lesson. “Some assembly required” actually means, “This is the equivalent of a 3D jigsaw puzzle for adults.”

I watched my man put together our entertainment stand and it was quite entertaining…no pun intended. -Kristin

You should have bought the floor model. They actually discount furniture they have already put together!

That really stinks about the couches. Now Bobby and I have to return the time machine we bought you so you could get the matching puple and blue velour drapes.

I’m so glad to see you got the building things gene from your mom and not the “what tool is that?” gene from your dad! Cute entertainment center by the way!
