Saved By The Bell
So my last post has prompted me to start a dialogue with my vast readership. Saved by the Bell has once again bridged both generational and geographical gaps that no other teen sitcom could attempt to reconcile. Here I am opening a forum for favorite Saved by the Bell moments. I’ll get things started…Here are some favorite Saved by the Bell moments:
- MVEMJSUNP = Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
- Zap Zit turns Kelly’s face red before homecoming…And “Red Faces” become the new trend around Bayside.
- Screech ruin’s Lisa’s fashion show by describing Zack’s brown suede pants as “Perfect for wearing while stabbing your best friend in the back…I’m outta’ here!” Â
- “Bayside is the school that’s cool and you know that it’s true (know that it’s true, Know that it’s true.)” - a little lemon juice ruins the live performance though.
- And who can forget? B-B-BBB-B GO BAYSIDE!
Please join in the fun by posting your favorite Saved by the Bell moments.

Sorry, one more…
I love how the rival school is called “Valley” that’s just funny to me.

Its the Zack Attack!
Personal faves include:
-The party at Screech’s house when Elvis gets broken
-When the oil company wants to dig at Bayside and Zack loses his duck
-When Zack befriends the dying Indian who gives him the headband to beat Valley
-When Belding is a student and Zack is the Principal for a day
Those are just a few keep them rolling in.

Hey Jordan!! I stumbled across your blog and had to add my fave SBTB moment, besides the endearing theme song with the big yellow alarm clock “When I wake up in the morning
And the ‘larm lets out a warning
I don’t think I’ll ever make it on time…dadadddaahhhddaadda..It’s alright…cause I’m saved by the bell”
K…but my favorite quote is when Zack has broken his leg and he’s (dreaming he’s a famous musician with a cute, ditsy, groupie girlfriend) he’s in the hospital after the big ‘break’ and Lisa walks in and says the greatest “If you don’t get rid of Linda, I’m gonna throw her out the Winda…”
still laughing
btw: Your new wifie is just beautiful! I have enjoyed seeing all the pics on your mom’s picasa. The wedding looked perfect. Congrats.

Props to Chris…How could I have left out the oil one? I love at the end when Zack gives his compelling speech and then “spills” oil on the “big oil” spokesman.

What abour the feature length, two part wedding in Vegas, the Jesse Spano arrived in the last 30 seconds of. She probably just ran from the set of Showgirls.

Let me interject that Saved by the Bell fashions are so rapidly “fall”ing back into the next trends for this season. This made me ponder the whole “getting old” problem when you wear things that you remember wearing the last decade when it was “in”. You may ask, “Will this stop Kristin from wearing the new trends”? I answer you with a NO! I always loved the tank top with the large neck hole large enough to show a hint of shoulder. It looks fashionably comfy if I do say so myself. After all…if Kelly can pull it off…. so can I:)

Who doesn’t love a priceless Screech & Lisa argument?
Mauna la, Lisa!
What does that mean?
It means you make my blood bubble like hot lava.
Well, Mauna lau la la–go sit on a volcano!
The best Bayside play: “Snow White & the 7 Dorks”
Uhhh…well at first I didn’t like all this drama, but now I trust you–so kiss me, Mama! (AC Slater was the next MC Hammer)
Finally a song that is forever playing in my mind:
Put your mind to it, go for it…get down and break a sweat. Rock & ro-oll, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
(You gotta’ love those aerobics outfits).

ohhh, whitney…we must’ve been commenting at the same time…the workout video must’ve been our favorite episode as little kids–forever etched in our minds. ahhh, what can i say? SBTB brings families together.

Now these are some incredibly good blogging comments!
I have to say I did enjoy the summer that everyone spent on the beach working for the girl from King of Queens and her dad. The slumber party episode, the surprise party in the restaurant and the Kelly saving the pour drowning swimmer from the ocean episodes have to be added to the classics!
August 24th, 2007 at 6:20 am
I remembered the girl from the beach, her name was Stacey!
And how could we possibly forget that while Chris & Jordan obviously bonded with Zach as he protested the oil thing; that we “one day mom”’s had an instant connection with him as he delivered Mr. Belding & his wifes baby in the broken, shut elevator. That Zach Morris, he really was a hero! By the way does anyone remember if the baby was a boy or girl?

What about when they filmed the last season (including the graduation episode) and then found out they were going to be able to make a few more episodes…Unfortunately, Kelly and Jessie were already off to other projects. So, they filmed the “Tori” episodes and showed the graduation episode last. Ha! I guess during those episodes, Kelly and Jessie just never bumped into the rest of the gang while we were watching…and then poor Tori must have slept in on graduation day.

The episode with the “zack attack” band was amazing… I get so angry when I watch it now because I was convinced that they where all playing their instruments… But that is still by far the best episode ever…
I like the Work out video one… but the best part of that entire episode is when jessi has her breakdown. it is by far the best acting ever… EVER! I’m so excited! I’m so excited! I’m so SCARED!

Who is Big J? He must be excluded from this SBTB memoir tribute.

Actually, I did like it when Jesse’s step brother from New York blackmailed Zack and Slater. I also liked the one when The girls taught Zack a lesson with the subliminal tape and Mr Belding fell in love with Zack.
What a hoot.

Oh Yeah, and Jesse’s drug problem was great TV too!
