Trouble at “The Office”
Well, NBC’s The Office has officially been shut down. The cast and crew have been let go pending the resolution of the Writer’s Guild strike. All I know is, this thing better get resolved fast. There are only two episodes that have already been filmed which means if the strike lasts longer than a week, NBC will be out of programming.
I am going on the record here. I want NBC to know that if they don’t resolve this situation in one week, I will be killing myself. “That’s not funny, Jordan.” I’m not kidding. NBC, you have 6 days to resolve this issue or my blood is on your hands.
NBC, the office, TV, WGA Strike

I found this on unitedhollywood.com
From a source close to “The Office” –
The Office has shut down for good. Around 2:00 pm Tuesday. The crew has been asked back Wednesday to strike the location, but there will be no more shooting. This is thanks to a complete staff picket from 4:15 am to 3:00 Monday (when they called the day) and 6:45 am Tuesday until they shut it down. It is also thanks to a number of WGAmebers/actors making principled stands and not reporting to work.
Additionally, I’ve been told that Steve Carell informed NBC he is unable to report to work because he is suffering from “enlarged balls.†Not just enlarged, I’d say, but brass ones. The source on this one adds, “We wish him a happy, slow recovery.”

“Attention shoppers…Mr. Whosoever Will, please come to customer service…you’ve left your headlights on…also, someone found your check in the men’s room…they said you can go to hell.”

This is not a joke. The Office has been shut down for “the foreseeable future”. However, “the foreseeable future” will end when the strike does.
Production has also been shut down on The Late Show w/ David Letterman and The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno. This I don’t understand. If a couple of stand-up comics who have been in the business for 30 years can’t come up with an hour’s worth of material, maybe they don’t deserve to be where they are.

Let me add to your dismay today, 24 has now been cancelled indefinitely!!!

Everyone keep in mind, the use of the term “indefinitely” means that they are uncertain of when the strike will be resolved. The shows have technically been canceled, but will resume when the strike is resolved…
I know what you’re all thinking, and I agree. It’s really hard to know where God is in all of this.

The Drama in these post/comments is overwhelming for me to take in. Don’t get me wrong I am saddened that we will lose many of our friends over this, but we will not lose hope. I am starting to turn into my husband….Dear God, HELP US ALL!~
