NOW it’s Christmas

There are just certain things that make it feel like”Christmas”. For my family this was four fold:
- The Christmas tape
- Mom’s gingerbread houses
- Mom’s Christmas candies
- Christmas music (specifically The Carpenter’s)
Anyway, last night after church Kristin and I went to Palatka, because we’re spending Christmas with her family. However, today I had to drive back to work a shift at Target. So I got home tonight at about 10:45 and I was a it bummed. Alone on Christmas eve eve without a cell phone…It doesn’t get much more lonely. Then out on the porch arose such a clatter! It was my neighbor/landlord Patti. She said that a box had come for me and she picked it up because she thought we were gone for the holidays. To my delight, it was a box of mom’s homemade Christmas candy! Homemade caramel, peanut butter cups, glass candy, and sugar cookies! What makes Christmas for you?

Probably not a great idea to post your home address to your incalculable number of world wide readers. The fan mail may be more than landlord Patti can process. You’ll have to hire “people” to sort through your mail and it will be a huge mess. It’s too late now!
P.S. Merry Christmas
I miss my Hushband!
Been trying to get in touch with you man! Give me a hollah.
Moving tomorrow!…The address thing was indeed a blunder. Anyway, I have lost my cell phone, so if anyone is trying to get me…Call Kristin’s…or email me.
please tell me you aren’t moving MOVING tomorrow… just moving two or three boxes.
pretty sure if i get back to l-town on sat & you are long gone, no “see ya later”… we WILL have issues.
Misty,
Sorry to inform you that all boxes are moved…Which means it won’t be long until our guest room is ready for you and Grant.
doesnt one feel the need to tell ones ex-coworker that one is in fact, not moving the 2nd week in jan?? guess not…
well nice save, jman… cant wait to see you guys again!
I’m glad you enjoyed the candy! We missed having you here to enjoy it in person!
