I believe that the church should be the most creative place in the world. With that in mind we incorporated artists into our night of praise. We had to two artists in our church up front painting and sketching during worship.

Pastor Brian got me the self-titled, debut album from Deluge for my birthday. Deluge is the youth worship band from Bethany World Prayer Center. The band is lead by the church’s worship pastor, Jonathan Stockstill. I really like their music. My favorite tracks off the album are “Whisper His Name”, “I Believe”, and “Open up the Sky”. This CD doesn’t sound super youth-y and is a little more keys-driven than a lot of stuff out there.
Music, WorshipAs most of you probably know, new episodes of The Office tonight on NBC. It was great to see everyone again! It was also great that our friends from Lakeland came over to Sarasota for a little Office reunion party. We had tons of food..In fact, Kristin has several trays of pigs-in-a-blanket left over that were never even cooked!

Today I surprised Kristin by flying her best friend Kaley down from Alabama. The look on her face was priceless! Props to all involved who kept the secret. ![]()
Delirious continues their trend of being way ahead of everyone else in Christian music with their latest release, “Kingdom of Comfort“. This is an amazing record.
Delirious, Excellence, MusicApparently Chili’s is better at customer service than they are with names. A couple weeks ago Kristin and I picked up take-out at Chili’s after church. I had been craving their queso dip all day…But when we got home with our bag of food I discovered that they had neglected to put the queso in the bag. So I called to let them know that I had not received the queso (which I had paid for). Two days later I receive a letter of apology and a $10 gift certificate made out to Mr. Ritty.
