Starting to (re)Finish
Kristin and I are moving across town in a couple of weeks. More on the new place later. In the mean time we’ve been refinishing some furniture. You may remember our amazing coffee table which we refinished late last year. For the end table we went for a shabby -chic look inspired by these Pottery Barn tables. Here’s the finished product:

Would never have thought to paint it that color. But i like it very much and amazed at your refinishing skills!

We wouldn’t have thought of that color either. IN fact, we were planning on painting it a different color. Then we saw a piece in a store that was this blue color and really liked it. It’s a little darker in person. Not much, but a little.

It is hard to believe it has been 31 years since your dad and I used those tables in our first apt!! It is great to see them take on a new look and used by the NEXT generation!!! You guys should go in the refinishing business!!! GREAT JOB!
