DMB: The Lillywhite Sessions

This is one of the most famous “releases” from the band. Ever. This was the aborted 2000 album with producer Steve Lillywhite. It was leaked to Napster and, eventually, lossless .shn files started making the rounds. While not happy with the leak, DMB accepted the fact that the album was out there and that it was a hit with fans. Eventually, they went back into the studio with Steve Harris to revisit many of the “Lillywhite Sessions” songs. It is a credit to DMB and their management that they permit their fans to trade this excellent demo. This truly is among their very best studio work ever. There are three forms of the Lillywhite material presented here. The first is the original Lillywhite Sessions as it was originally known and leaked to the fan community. The second is the so-called “Karmageddon Remaster” done by an indivudual in 2005. Finally, there are clips of “Demo #2” – actually an earlier demo which is not widely-circulated. Only low-quality MP3 files have been made available by the few that have it. If you love The Lillywhite Sessions, I would also encourage you to support the great songs and the band by purchasing Busted Stuff, which you can do via iTunes or Amazon here. (NOTE: I get absolutely nothing if you click through to purchase). Finally, for more information on the Lillywhite Sessions, check out this article.

DMB: 12/19/1998 (Video)

Uploaded by request of some friends from AntsMarching.org.

DMB’s 12/19/1998 show was webcast back in 1998. Understandably, the stream is not of the highest quality. This is a conversion to .mp4 that I made of the fan-made DVD. Please keep in mind that the original source was a webcast from 1998.

You can use Quicktime, iTunes, VLC, Media Player Classic and numerous other software players to view these files.

Enjoy. 🙂
